Eating lunch at 12pm - 1pm and not having dinner until around 6pm - 7pm leaves me very hungry in the in-between. I will sometimes have a couple of fruits, or a trail mix to keep myself satisfied. But then I found this smoothie (of course at my gym) and it is wonderful. Not only does it taste delicious, but it keeps me going until dinner without any problems + this is a great way to sneak in loads of protein after a good strength workout!
When looking for a protein shake/protein bar - make sure you check out the carbohydrate content. A lot of these bars have a high carb/sugar count, sometimes even substantially higher than the actual protein count, so make sure that you read the labels and look for the one with lowest carb count, I usually try to keep the carb count under 16gr.
